A closeup image of wildflowers on a hill in Caliente, California, makes for a Monet like painting. A lone lupine can be found among a sea of fiddleneck and owl's clover.
Caliente, California is located southeast of Bakersfield, off Highway 58 in Kern County. The area is known for beautiful ranch lands and wildflower displays in spring. Lands of Caliente Creek area are part of the Tejon Ranch Conservancy.
